This will become your new favorite snack

My breakfasts had a makeover this week, wanna know why? I've rediscovered one of the coolest health foods out there: Ricebliss. If you haven't heard of it before, Ricebliss is a healthy porridge/pudding cross over made out of whole grain rice. The best part is, it's gluten free, dairy free and vegan! It's also packed with omega 3s, antioxidants, and Vitamin C to name a few.

The other amazing thing about it is that there's so many different ways to eat it! You can serve it hot or cold, throw it in a smoothie, eat it as a hot porridge, or make your own breakfast bowl like I did in the picture above. It's the perfect snack before or after a workout.

Ricebliss comes in several flavors, including: corn and quinoa, açai and chia, pineapple and quinoa, cocoa, and pumpkin pie. You can find them all in the refrigerated section at Whole Foods!

My favorite recipes with Ricebliss

They recently gave me some of their newest flavors to try, and I couldn't wait to start playing around with different recipes.

Here's some of the delicious ways I enjoyed Ricebliss this week:

The açai bowl with a twist

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know by know that I have a minor (okay, major) obsession with açai bowls. So, you can imagine how stoked I was to try the açai and chia Ricebliss flavor. I kept it cold and poured it into a bowl. I cut up some kiwi, sprinkled some millet cereal on top, and my bowl was good to go. A delicous bowl in under 1 minute? I'm sold.

I loved the full taste of the acai and light rice flavor put together. It was definitely a great twist to the traditional açai bowl.

The healthy chocolate pudding

I kinda still can't get over how good this one tastes. It tasted just like chocolate pudding, I was in heaven. I whipped this up after a long day at work, and it was the perfect treat without any guilt. It's only 160 calories, and is packed with Omega 3, Omega 6, Vitamin C, and Maganese. Definitely not an empty snack! I kept this one cold, sprinkled some coconut flakes and some peanut butter powder, and had a delicious pudding. Again, all prepped in under 1 minute. How easy is that?

The corn and quinoa pick-me-up

I tried coming up with a cool recipe for this one, but honestly, it was tastier just by itself. I heated this one up in the microwave at work for a mid-afternoon snack while it was cold and rainy outside. And man, did it hit the spot.

It tasted almost like a creamy corn soup and kept me full for the rest of the afternoon. Since it comes in a little plastic cup, it was super easy to pop in my lunchbox and bring to work.

Although it's a tough competition, I'd say this my favorite Ricebliss flavor.

Final thoughts

After trying all the flavors, I'm super excited to pick up some more Ricebliss and experiment with some new recipes. Feel free to try out the ones I came up with and be sure to tell me what you think! If you come up with your own recipes, I'd love to see them!
